CONNECT.TECH is the Southeast’s premier annual conference dedicated to JavaScript, Web and Mobile related technologies, tools, and frameworks. CONNECT.TECH will feature presentations and workshops from global technology and thought leaders as well as local community speakers. It’s never too late to say, UX me
So, you have an new business idea, a functional prototype, or even a product already in the market that isn’t performing as well as you’d hoped. Good thing it’s never to late to bring in some design!
This talk takes a look at how the design process—including user research, design, and usability testing—can benefit developers and entrepreneurs at any stage of the product development lifecycle. We’ll look specifically at four stages of product development—a brand new idea, a wireframe concept just starting to be coded, a functional prototype that’s already gone through software development, and a market-ready product—and talk about how to use practical UX tools and methods at each step. Attendees will come away with the knowledge and confidence necessary to apply design thinking to their own projects, regardless of its maturity.
